Day 1

Because I didn't have to endure the salt water flush this morning my day went fine, until about five o clock, at which time everythought I had seemed to connect to food, making me want to quit like right now. Unfortunately I am not quiting, I hate this.

So I've just now recovered from my first experience with the salt water flush. Wow. Although this is the world wide web, I will censor myself. 

In other news, I think some cereal would taste great right now.

The Master Cleanse Diet - Pre-Experience Thoughts

Ingredients: Lemon Juice, Unionized Salt, Grade B Maple Syrup, Cayenne Pepper, Herbal Laxative, Spring Water


Hello, and welcome to our blog. Over the course of the next few days we are going to be recording our experience with The Master Cleanse Diet, or as it's also known as, The Lemonade Diet.




Sounds great, doesn't it? Why are we doing it you ask? That's a good question. Is it to cleanse our bodies of toxins? Is it to lose weight quickly before spring break? Is it to test the limits of our body, mind, and soul?! Yes. Also, we think it would be fun.


The plan is that the different participants (myself, Andrew, Clayton, and Adam) will blog about our daily experiences with the diet. Should be a treat. Check back daily for pictures and thoughts. I anticipate a lot of, "I'M SO FREAKIN' HUNGRY"s.


DISCLAIMER: We are not following any books or professional advice before doing this diet. In all actuality, we are ignoring all of our friends advice not to do this diet. We are getting our recipe from various online sources and I'm sure we will share with you which ones we have the most luck with. As of right now, I can't verify how much of this blog will be factual and how much will be made up, so please don't take this too seriously.
